The Inaugural Post

Our very first blog, and I don't know what to talk about. There has been so much going on, both on and off the farm. Our first batch of summer bunnies are just about ready, as well as our small batch of meat chickens. It has been a good summer so far, adding some perennial plants this year, so expect a modest crop of raspberries and strawberries next year.

Also this spring we tried out an inncubator that we borrowed from a friend, I think it is safe to say, dont count your chickens before they hatch, but we had a healthy crop of both chickens and ducks. It was a very rewarding experience, and one I look forward to doing again. Even though July is almost finished, I feel like the summer has barely begun, and I will be very surprised when fall comes.
